The 5 HD Foundation Shades
01 — Ivory
Best for: Very fair to fair skin tones with cool or neutral undertones
Skin characteristics: Lightest complexions that may burn easily in the sun. Common undertones include pink, peach, or neutral. This shade works beautifully on those who have difficulty finding foundations light enough without looking grey or ashy.
Seasonal tip: If your skin tans slightly in summer, consider mixing Ivory with Beige for your warmest months.
02 — Beige
Best for: Fair to light skin tones with warm or neutral undertones
Skin characteristics: Light complexions with a slightly warm or golden cast. Common undertones include peach, golden, or neutral. Beige provides natural-looking coverage without pulling too yellow or too pink.
Seasonal tip: A year-round shade for many. Mix with Ivory for a lighter match in winter months.
03 — Almond
Best for: Light to medium skin tones with warm or neutral undertones

Best for: Medium to tan skin tones with warm or golden undertones
Skin characteristics: Warm, golden-brown complexions with rich undertones. Caramel provides a seamless match for deeper medium skin tones including many South Asian, mixed-race, and Black skin tones at the lighter end of the deep spectrum.

Best for: Deep to rich skin tones with warm, cool, or neutral undertones
Skin characteristics: Our deepest shade, formulated specifically to deliver rich, seamless coverage for the deepest skin tones without looking chalky or ashy. Ebony celebrates the full depth and richness of dark complexions.
Seasonal tip: If your skin lightens significantly in winter months, try mixing Ebony with Caramel for a customized cool-weather match.
How to Find Your Undertone
Finding the right shade isn't just about depth — undertone matters too. Here are some easy ways to identify yours:
The Vein Test
Look at the veins on the inside of your wrist in natural daylight:
- Blue or purple veins → Cool undertone
- Green veins → Warm undertone
- Both / hard to tell → Neutral undertone
The Jewellery Test
- Gold jewellery looks better on you → Warm undertone
- Silver jewellery looks better on you → Cool undertone
- Both look equally good → Neutral undertone
The Sun Test
- You tan easily and rarely burn → Warm undertone
- You burn easily and tan slowly → Cool undertone
- You tan gradually without much burning → Neutral undertone
Tips for the Perfect Match
- Test on your jawline, not the back of your hand — your jawline is closest to your neck and chest and gives the most accurate result.
- Check in natural light. Store lighting can distort how a shade looks against your skin.
- When between two shades, go lighter — it's easier to build depth with a second layer than to lighten a shade that's too dark.
