When I founded Pretty Woman Cosmetics, I made a decision early on: I would never compromise on what goes into our products or how they're made. Cruelty-free isn't a trend for us — it's a core value that shapes every single product we create.
What "Cruelty-Free" Actually Means
Cruelty-free means that neither our finished products nor any of the ingredients within them have been tested on animals at any stage of development. This applies to our products and to the suppliers we source from. We verify this through our ingredient sourcing process and maintain strict supplier standards.
Why It Matters
Animal testing in cosmetics is banned in the UK, the EU, India, and many other countries — yet it remains legal in others. When you choose a cruelty-free brand, you're voting with your dollar for an industry that doesn't harm animals unnecessarily. Modern science has given us alternatives that are more accurate and more humane. There is no reason for cosmetics to be tested on animals in 2026.
Made in Canada
All Pretty Woman Cosmetics products are developed and produced in Canada, under strict Health Canada regulations. Canadian cosmetic standards are among the highest in the world — which means every product that carries our name has been held to a standard we're genuinely proud of.
Paraben-Free Formulas
We're also paraben-free. Parabens are preservatives used in many cosmetics that have been the subject of ongoing health research. We chose to formulate without them — not because we had to, but because we believe in giving you products that you can feel good about using every day.
Our Promise
As the founder of Pretty Woman Cosmetics, I want every customer to know: when you buy from us, you're not just buying lipstick or skincare. You're supporting a brand built on the belief that beauty should never come at the cost of our values — or the animals we share this world with.
Thank you for being part of this community.
With love,
